Hire is the easy part
Anyone can drop a unit on a site. The difference between a supplier you keep and one you replace is what happens on every visit after that. Servicing is the actual product.
What every service visit should include
Frequency is a commitment, not an estimate
Servicing frequency should be agreed before delivery and written into the hire agreement, based on how many people are using the units. If the site scales up, the schedule should change with it. That is a conversation, not something you should have to chase.
What to ask a supplier
Ask how often they will service, what a visit includes, and what happens if a unit is damaged or a visit is missed. A supplier who is confident about their servicing will answer all three without hedging.
